Job Summary:

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Milledgeville, Georgia. The role involves providing care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including chest pain, strokes, diabetes, abdominal pain, motor vehicle accidents, hypertension, and mental health conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
Location: Milledgeville, GA
Schedule: Night shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active RN License (Georgia), BLS (Basic Life Support), BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm), ACLS, PALS, minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room RN, no experience minimum required.
Preferred Qualifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), National certification in emergency nursing.
Float: Float rotation may be required within the Emergency Room or to the Navicent Emergency Room in Macon (about 45 minutes away).
Additional Information: The unit has an average census of 85 patients per day, with patient ratios of RN: 1:3-4 depending on assigned zone, LPN: 1:4, and CNA: 2 per shift. Orientation includes 1 day of facility and unit orientation with educational modules and 2 days of departmental training.
Technology/Equipment includes EPIC electronic medical records, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing systems, Phillips monitors, and other essential medical equipment.
Scrub Color: RN - Navy; LPN - Ceil Blue. Free parking available on campus. The unit boasts a good team culture with many long-term staff.
