We are seeking multiple interns for Summer 2026! These are paid, in‑person, 12‑week internships based out of Atlanta, GA. Internship dates are May 18 - Aug 7, 2026.

Flock Safety is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to support the design, analysis, testing, and development of mechanical systems and components used in Flock’s products. Your responsibilities will include: assisting with CAD‐based design; performing engineering analyses such as stress and thermal calculations; supporting prototype fabrication and assembly; participating in testing and evaluation of new and existing designs; contributing to the full mechanical development lifecycle, including materials and component selection, technical documentation, system‑level troubleshooting, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.

Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.

Experience with 3D printers and basic machine shop tools.

In this role, you’ll receive an hourly rate of $30-35/hr. Interns are expected to work a full 40‑hour week during the duration of their internship.
