COUNSELOR (Full Time POSITION)

Resolution Health and Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our growing behavioral health team in Halethorpe, Maryland. In this rewarding role, you will provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders while helping them build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials.

Full-time

Monday through Friday

Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care.

Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and available community resources.

Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and other required records in the electronic health record (EHR).

Ensure compliance with COMAR regulations, Maryland behavioral health standards, HIPAA, and organizational policies.

Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and continuing education activities.

Other equivalent Maryland behavioral health licensure or certification

Experience providing substance use disorder (SUD) treatment in an outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), residential, or behavioral health setting.

Strong assessment, counseling, and treatment planning abilities.
