Physician - Pediatrics - Hospitalist - Pediatric Hospital Medicine Physician

The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at The Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time physician to join a well-established and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatrician interested in inpatient care, teaching, and professional growth within a supportive academic environment

Clinical and academic responsibilities:

Inpatient pediatric care and newborn care

Pediatric sedation and complex care management

Active teaching of medical students and residents in Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics and Family Medicine

Position details and requirements:

MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics

Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Hospital Medicine encouraged but not required

Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents and other healthcare providers.
