Nursing - Registered Nurse - Psychiatry

Position Overview
Provides direct patient care in a behavioral health setting within a dedicated Geriatric Psychiatry unit. Responsibilities include conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, participating in treatment team conferences, and leading group therapy sessions. Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care plans accordingly, ensuring a patient-centered approach focused on stabilization and recovery.
Qualifications
Must hold an active nursing license from the Alabama Board of Nursing and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Education requires a diploma from an accredited nursing program.
