The posted compensation range of $32.01 - $48.43 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Here, you will help advance modern nursing by providing your skills, experience, and commitment to compassionate care. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:
Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
This position will float between the DSC and Main Operating Rooms, with occasional assignments to GI circulating as needed. In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:
Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

At Holy Cross Hospital Davis, the Surgery Department has 12 ORs (8 Main, 4 DSC) and 4 GI suites that perform around 15,000 procedures a year for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Specialties include robotics (general, urology, gynecology), general, ortho, trauma, neuro, ENT, urology, gyn, podiatry and more. The culture encompasses teamwork and support in professional and personal growth. This department is unique because our staff have the opportunity to grow and experience all forms of care delivered in surgical services from the large complex cases in the main OR to a fast-paced ambulatory setting at our on campus surgical center including endoscopy, pain management.
