As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, andengineers you willapply yoursystems engineering, fluids, and propulsion expertise within the MK1 Fluids Systems Engineering team. You will use natural leadership and organizational skills and share a commitment to quality to positively impact the bold missions at Blue Origin.

Lead subsystem trade studies from early concept through approval and implementation

Tackle the broad range of Fluids Systems Engineertasks like leading trade studies, component design/integration, 1st order analysis, and test support

Understand and applysystemsengineering fundamentals across the development cycle ofsystems including concept development, requirements, design, analysis, validation, integrations, safety, configuration management, verification, and test

Integrate between fluids and propulsion subsystem and overall system level vehicle design, analysis, software, and operations

S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a similar technical field

Established expertise across the full SE development cycle (concept, requirements, design, analysis, integration, safety, configuration management, verification and test)

Experience with fluid/gas components i.e., solenoid valves, directional valves, manifolds, accumulators, regulators, pumps, pressure vessels, and instrumentation

S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Advanced Engineering degree

Experience supporting projects through the full development cycle

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
