Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–1:7, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the shift
Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Attend required staff meetings and complete all assigned onboarding modules prior to start date
Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Must complete all assigned onboarding modules by the Thursday before the start date
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; RTO submitted after will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Telemetry nursing experience
Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience charting in Epic
