CNA: Personal Care - Part Time

The community provides Personal Care services to help residents with daily living needs while promoting independence and dignity. Specialized Alzheimer’s and Memory Care programs are available for residents living with cognitive challenges, focusing on safety, engagement, and compassion. Team members work in a collaborative setting where resident well-being and quality of life are central to every decision and service.
Role Description The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for safely administering prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and community policies. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and documenting medications, monitoring residents for side effects, and promptly reporting any changes in condition to nursing staff. The role also supports direct resident care such as assisting with activities of daily living, checking vital signs, and promoting infection control practices. The medication aide collaborates with care teams, communicates with residents and families in a respectful manner, and helps maintain accurate records and a clean, organized work area. This is a part-time, on-site role based at Cameron Hall of Canton in Canton, GA.
Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential and experience providing hands-on personal care to older adults.
Knowledge of safe Medicine administration practices, including dosage, documentation, and observation for side effects.
Ability to accurately take and record Vital Signs and report concerns to licensed nursing staff.
Understanding of Infection Control procedures and adherence to hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards.
Strong Communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Ability to work on-site, stand and walk for extended periods, and assist residents with mobility and daily activities.
Prior experience in senior living, personal care, or memory care settings is preferred.
