Registered Nurse – IR

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR) to assist with minimally invasive image-guided procedures. The IR RN will support pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care in collaboration with physicians, technologists, and radiology teams.

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, angiograms, and catheter insertions.

Administer moderate sedation and medications as ordered, and respond to adverse reactions or emergencies.

Prepare procedural rooms, assist with sterile technique, and manage imaging equipment support needs.

Document assessments, interventions, medications, and procedural events accurately and in a timely manner.

Educate patients and families on procedure expectations, recovery instructions, and follow-up care.

Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and radiology protocols.

Active RN license in good standing.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in critical care, procedural nursing, or radiology nursing.

Experience with moderate sedation, sterile technique, and post-anesthesia care preferred.

Strong communication, critical thinking, and emergency response skills.

Daytime hours with limited weekends or on-call coverage as needed.
