Automotive Parts Associate / Parts Retail Counter

Berman Hyundai is looking for a reliable Parts Counter Associate to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and building their knowledge in the automotive industry. This role requires prior parts experience in a dealership setting, Hyundai experience preferred.

Parts Counter Associate (Union, Local 731)

Pay: $20-$28 per hour - BOE

Saturdays (8:00AM–4:00PM); Off Sundays and Mondays

Union shop representation and job security

Help customers and service technicians find the right parts and accessories with accuracy and efficiency

Keep inventory organized by stocking, tracking, and fulfilling orders through our systems

Handle transactions and phone inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail

Work closely with the service department to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time

Contribute to sales goals through strong product knowledge and customer service

Prior experience working with parts in a dealership setting required

Solid understanding of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes

Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers and team members

Comfortable using inventory management systems, POS platforms, and basic retail math

Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in stock control and order accuracy
