Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves providing direct nursing care to a diverse patient population within a 30-bed observation and medical-surgical unit equipped with telemetry capability. The role supports a team-based environment and requires working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. The role includes the possibility of working up to six (6) weekend shifts and holidays, as needed based on department requirements.

Valid nursing license; educational or certification requirements consistent with the healthcare organization's standards; 1 or more years of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical nursing, telemetry certification, or trauma care is advantageous.

Additional Information: The unit functions as a Level I trauma center serving all age groups. Team collaboration is essential, with support staff including patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry monitoring techs is available to enhance patient safety.
