Schedule
4x10 Hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00.
Job Description
The Cath Lab RN will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role requires expertise in sedation and circulation during various cardiac procedures, including left heart catheterization, STEMIs, and pericardiocentesis.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and prepare for cardiac procedures.
Administer sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures.
Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, and pericardiocentesis.
Provide care for patients requiring emergency interventions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in on-call shifts as required, adhering to a 30-minute callback time.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years minimum experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab and critical care/ED.
• Current RN License (MD or Compact License).
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience in sedating or circulating cardiac procedures is essential.
• Preferred experience with pacemakers, Bi-V, and ICD implantable devices.
