The position of Journeyman Electrician exists to successfully manage and execute the installation and maintenance of electrical products for designated projects associated with Doyle Electric, Inc. The work environment for this position typically, but not always, consists of new or existing commercial, medical, or industrial complexes.

Professionally communicate with associated Architects, Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and all other levels of job site personnel concerning technical aspects of the project.
Effectively manage, train, direct, and work with a designated crew of Electricians, Apprentices, and Helpers concerning daily installation tasks and assignments.
Professionally install and maintain all electrical, control, and lighting systems associated with designated projects.
Conduit bending and installation.
Wiring and termination of Electrical panels.
Lighting circuitry and installation.
Aerial Lift Equipment and Forklift Operation.
Compile and manage material lists for procurement. Submit weekly time to project Foreman or Superintendent.
s Safety Policy by all assigned personnel.
Be directly responsible for the training and successful performance of designated apprentices and helpers. Ensure all state and local building regulations are met or exceeded based on the current National Electrical Code.
Responsible for all on hand inventory and tools/equipment used along with any property of Doyle Electric, Inc. Coordinate organization of all inventories at the end of day to ensure proper inventory control and accountability. Assist crews as needed, including gathering material needed for installation, helping with installation, and maintaining a clean, safe job site.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate Supervisor(s), Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Project Manager.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week), specific work schedule may vary.
Ability to follow direction from multiple supervisors and work together to enforce accountability for job site organization and cleanliness.
Provision of personal hand tools (including but not limited to 25' tape measure, channel locks, kleins, wire stripper, utility knife, set of nut drivers, 10-and1-tool, hammer, pencil, Sharpie marker).
physically capable to work actively on feet for 8 hours per day, work in tight, confined spaces, safely work on ladders and on scissor lifts, articulating lifts, scaffolding, and other lift equipment. NCCER Electrical Training Certification preferred with concentration in the commercial electrical area.
Position typically has 8+ years of commercial electrical experience.
