Faculty Professor Associate - Full-Time, Pathology

The Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a full-time, tenure-leading faculty position in Anatomic Pathology focusing on Breast Pathology. The successful candidate will have strong diagnostic skills in breast pathology and may participate in another subspecialty. Opportunities include teaching within the medical school and an ACGME-accredited AP/CP residency program, as well as developing research projects. Candidates interested in building a funded research program are also encouraged to apply.

Certification or eligibility for certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.

Fellowship training in breast pathology and/or surgical pathology preferred.

Strong diagnostic skills in breast pathology and willingness to participate in another subspecialty.

Provide diagnostic pathology services with emphasis on breast pathology.

Teach medical students and residents within the medical school and the AP/CP residency program.

Develop and lead research projects, including funding acquisition.

Take on administrative responsibilities as part of a rapidly growing academic practice.
