MRI Technologist - PRN-MRI
Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Shift: Variable

Neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac anatomy
Produce high‑quality MRI images in various settings
Learn advanced MRI techniques such as cardiac and breast MRI
Maintain MRI safety measures, including implant investigation
Educate patients regarding MRI safety, screening, procedures, equipment, and examination
Function well under stress and with minimal supervision
Work both independently and as part of the MRI team
Personnel MRI Technologist Works With
Nurses, Physicians, Respiratory Therapists, and other care team members throughout the hospital
Glick Center - Brand new Siemens Vida 3.0 T and Sola 1.5 T magnets
Middleburg Heights - Open Hitachi MRI
All MRI scanners are ACR‑Accredited
Perform a variety of technical procedures utilizing MRI scanning equipment in the diagnosis of diseases in humans
Provide a safe and supportive care environment for patients undergoing MRI procedures, assisting radiologists and nursing staff
Operate in a multi‑purpose role depending on patient and department needs, following MetroHealth policies and ODH regulations

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/MRI program
ARRT MRI or ARMRIT credential or obtain within one year of employment (cross‑training support provided)
Previous MRI experience
Advanced certification through ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI
Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT
Visual acuity within normal range with or without correction
