Job Description
The Critical Care Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing patient care for individuals in the ICU. The unit features 18 private rooms equipped for COVID-19 patients, with an average daily census of 13. RNs will maintain a high level of clinical expertise and provide care for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and clinical interventions.
Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status.
Administer medications, including titration of vasoactive drips.
Provide care and management for patients on CRRT, IABP, and ventilators.
Perform care and removal of central lines and other invasive devices.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists and respiratory therapists.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of critical care RN experience is required.
Must possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Experience with CRRT, IABP, and ventilator management is highly preferred.
