Clinic Nurse LPN - Hematology Oncology

RN Outpatient Batavia Medical CenterAn exciting opportunity to join a community-based oncology practice that is part of a nationally recognized, NCI-designated cancer center. This small practice includes a MD, APP, LPN, Ambulatory Tech, and 3 RNs. The infusion assignment is a mixture of hematology/oncology/monoclonals, and non-oncology referral infusions. A typical infusion assignment is for 8 patients and involves chemotherapy teaching at the chairside. 40 hr/wk - Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm No weekends, no holidays and on on call responsibilitiesRequirements:- 2–3 years of recent infusion experience required, outpatient clinic experience highly desired - ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification - Current BLS certification from AHA - Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps - Ability to work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision - Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills - Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team - Current, unencumbered NYS RN licensureSkills:Skill - Required / Desired - Amount - of Experience - Expertise Rating - MoveRecent infusion experience - RequiredHematology/Oncology experience (2 years) - RequiredBLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - RequiredOncology Certification - RequiredExperience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps - RequiredStrong IV/vascular access and port access skills - RequiredCurrent, unencumbered NYS RN licensure - RequiredQuestions:Question 1 Does the HCP have any RTO?
