Overview: Maintenance Assistant Full-Time
Mount Alverna Village, part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community located in Parma, Ohio. We are a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/ long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team!
Hourly Shift Differentials

- Weekend Shift Differential- You will receive an additional $2.00 an hour
Complete mechanical, building and grounds maintenance
Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting
Appliance and equipment repairs
Technology installations
HVAC, Small engine repair, and/or welding experience is a plus.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of Maintenance Experience Preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
