Radiology - Registered Nurse, (Part-Time) Weekend- Night Shift

Cath Lab Tech

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Unit- Cath Lab Tech # suites/labs: 3 Cath Lab rooms + 1 Hybrid OR #cases per day on average: 13-26 Required Certifications: ARRT, AZRT Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, NSTEMI, CAD, PAD, PVD, CHF, Heart blocks, Cancer... Cases we do: Cardiac, peripheral vascular, Interventional Radiology, Pacemaker insertions Job Duties: RT are responsible for controlling the C-arm during cases, assisting MDs during procedures (scrubbing), and helping with patient preparation among other duties within their scope of practice. Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1+ year with Cardiac cases. IR experience is preferred. EMR/Equipment: Merge and Cerner is used as EMR and hemodynamic monitoring. Our X-ray machines are Philip. Cardiologist hours/on call: 24/7 coverage. Call hours are usually M-F from 17:30 until 7:00, Sat and Sun 24hs Manager/Charge Nurse: Manager, director and charge RN available normally from 6:30 am until 17:00 Shifts & Scheduling: 4 x 10 hours. Weeknight/Call Requirement: usually 1 night call shift per week Weekend/Call Requirement: usually 1 weekend call per 4 week period Holiday/Call Requirement: holiday call distributed equally among all the staff. Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement? usually 1 night call shift per week and usually 1 weekend call per 4 week period What is call response time? 30 minutes Floating Requirements: no floating requirements Scrub Color/Dress Code: OR scrub provided by hospital Unit/Department specific orientation: 1-2 days of general orientation, + 2 days of unit specific orientation.
