Must-Have: EPIC charting experience, experience with drips in a medical surgical/telemetry unit

Description: RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility. Specialty includes mixed acuity (medical surgical/telemetry & stepdown). The unit cares for medical surgical patients specializing in neurology and neurosurgery. Patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, with some rare instances of 1:7 at night. Stepdown ratios are 1:3-4 for both days and nights. The RN must have experience managing various therapy drips. travelers must have at least two years of experience in a Level 1 Academic Medical Center. RNs will float within scope to meet facility needs. Care teams include CNAs, care techs, and support staff. The facility is a nicotine-free environment. Weekend requirements consist of 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period, working either Saturday and Sunday days or Friday and Saturday nights. Holiday requirement includes working 2 of 3 major holidays. Local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility. Requested time off must be submitted with the application. Mandatory compliance documents will be necessary prior to start.
