Systems Engineering - Defense

Job Description AV is looking for a highly talented Systems Engineer III to join our team! In this role you will support the MDA Chief Engineer (MDA/CE) in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering.

Required Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field

Active Secret clearance

Ability to excel in a team setting

Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

Desired Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.).

Expertise in command and control (C2), data transport, Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), or interoperability.

ITAR Requirement This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee, or asylee. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
