Technology Technical Communicator

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Writer for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in San Diego, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and editing a variety of technical documents for a manufacturing team. You will collaborate with technical experts to gather information and translate it into clear, concise procedures for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring all materials conform to company quality standards. Create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for the manufacturing team Meet and interact with various users and technical experts to gather data for documentation Research and translate technical information into documents for nontechnical and technical users Document engineering processes and specifications Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements Produce products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards Primary Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to stay organized and track progress Ability to reach out to new people to ask for input and gather information Ability to understand engineers and translate their knowledge so that manufacturing associates can follow Willingness to learn new things quickly Desired Skills: S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
