Work you'll do As a Manager on the Insurance Solutions team, you will be responsible for defining the end-to-end architecture for Guidewire solutions, serving as a bridge between client stakeholders and Deloitte delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure configuration and integration designs. Lead solution architecture for Guidewire implementations across policy, billing, and claims transformations within insurance client environmentsTranslate business, functional, and technical requirements into configuration, integration, and data architecture decisionsEstablish technical standards, guide solution design reviews, and validate prototypes to support delivery quality, scalability, and securityOversee architecture support across build, testing, deployment, and production readiness activities while managing technical risks and dependenciesLead teams and mentor junior practitioners across workstreams, stakeholder interactions, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The team Our Industry Solutions offering provides verticalized solutions that transform how clients sell products, deliver services, generate growth, and execute mission-critical operations. Engagements span Deloitte offerings and could include developing underwriting, distribution, and claims transformation plans, modernizing specific business and enterprise functions, re-designing operating models and organizational structures, implementing digital experience and advanced analytics solutions, and integrating functions across multiple organizations. Our engagements require a combination of insurance industry knowledge, technical skill, and change management actions to instill confidence with our clients and execute the transformation. To enable our success, it will be critical to use data, insights, and new methods and technologies to inform better ways of working together. Bachelor’s degree6+ years of consulting experience and/or insurance industry experience in property and casualty, life and annuity/group, commercial, or specialty insurance6+ years of experience implementing insurance core platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or Origami, including 4+ years leading full lifecycle implementations of policy, billing, and/or claims systems4+ years of experience supporting one or more insurance domains such as products, underwriting, claims, billing and payments, policy administration, or distribution2+ years of experience leading at least one large business integration effort and project team through scoping, planning, requirements, design, development, and testingAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: Advanced degree in business, computer science, engineering, or mathematicsCPCU, AIC, ARM, and/or Guidewire Integration or Configuration certification4+ years of experience with Guidewire Cloud Claims migrationExperience delivering projects using Agile/Scrum methodologyExperience with Java, Gosu, Enterprise JavaBeans, Business Process Execution Language, and UNIXExperience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
