BE/BC Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist
Location: Ahoskie, NC Employment Type: Full Time Start Date: ASAP Pay Range: Competitive Come for the role. Stay for the people. Ahoskie offers the charm of small-town living with convenient access to the scenic waterways of North Carolina and Virginia, featuring friendly neighborhoods near the hospital, spacious country acreage, and waterfront homes. Residents enjoy a mild climate with four distinct seasons, making it ideal for outdoor activities like golf, hunting, fishing, camping, and water sports, along with community amenities such as a local theater, parks, and nearby beaches. The town combines an affordable cost of living with accessibility, including a nearby general aviation airport and major airports in Norfolk and Greenville within an hour. Recreational and wellness facilities further enhance quality of life, including the 21,000-square-foot Health Wellness Center with a lap pool and fitness equipment, as well as a Recreation Center offering little league baseball, lighted athletic fields, and picnic areas.
Role Overview: We are seeking a BE/BC Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist. New graduates and VISA candidates are welcome to apply. Clinical responsibilities will include Inpatient and ED consults. Outpatient support provided by nearby behavioral health clinic.
Requirements: Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry.
