Registered Nurse Acute Care

Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required

AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required

AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required

At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.

Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.

Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues.

Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes.

Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and effective patient care.

Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
