Head of Operations & Business Management

Job Summary: Aloris Tool Technology Co Inc is seeking a proactive Business Operations Manager to oversee the daily business and commercial activities of an established manufacturing company. The role involves managing customer orders, pricing, purchasing, inventory, shipping, financial coordination, and routine facility matters. The manager will also handle light sales and account follow-up duties. This position supervises two office employees and one shipping clerk, working closely with an experienced manufacturing lead responsible for production methods, tooling, quality, and technical issues. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations across all departments to support company growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Oversee quotations, order entry, customer communications, and routine pricing adjustments.

Manage purchasing processes, inventory controls, receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping oversight.

Monitor sales performance, gross margins, backlog levels, receivables, payables, and operating expenses.

Coordinate payroll administration, employee benefits, insurance policies, accounting records, and external service providers.

Manage relationships with outside computer consultants and coordinate support for office systems and the e-commerce website.

Supervise office staff and shipping personnel while coordinating daily priorities with the manufacturing lead.

Follow up with established customers on open quotations and inbound sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in operations management, customer service, order management, inventory control, or small-business administration.

Experience supervising small teams in office administration, customer service, or warehouse operations.

Working knowledge of inventory management systems and basic financial report interpretation.

Strong computer literacy skills and ability to coordinate external IT support for business systems and e-commerce platforms.

Excellent judgment, follow-through capability, and communication skills suited to a small-company environment.
