Systems Engineering - Junior

CPT is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the Gun Weapon Systems Division (E30) at NSWC Dahlgren. Navy gun weapon system development, evaluation, and sustainment programs in a collaborative, mission-critical environment.

Support systems requirements management and systems engineering design activities for E30 Gun Weapon Systems programs.

Assist with systems integration engineering and test and evaluation planning and execution.

Utilize systems engineering software tools to support documentation and requirements traceability.

Prepare technical documentation, requirements specifications, and systems engineering artifacts.

Support senior engineers in systems performance analysis and trade study activities.

Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

0–2 years of experience in systems engineering or related technical field.

Familiarity with systems engineering processes and tools (e.g., Secret clearance (strongly desired); Academic or internship experience with defense or naval systems engineering.

Familiarity with DoD systems engineering lifecycle processes.
