Dietitian - Flexible Full Time or Part Time

Company Description Our company is dedicated to providing specialized nutrition consulting services to congregate living healthcare facilities (CLHFs). Our team is composed of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) with decades of experience who provide clinical nutrition expertise, menu oversight, regulatory compliance support, and other professional dietary services. Supervision is provided by seasoned Dietitians, who will be available for questions, guidance and support to staff working in the field. Dietitians are additionally supported by administrative staff who assist with communication, documentation management, and general operational coordination. Role Description This is a part-time role for an RDN based in Palmdale, CA and the surrounding areas for 6 to 12 bed CLHFs. For each assigned CHLF, new hires will be responsible for new patient assessments, monthly follow-up patient evaluations (focusing on continuity of care), Title 22 compliance audits, ongoing communication with nursing staff, in-services, as needed, and special projects, as needed. The typical CLHF patient ranges from short-term rehabilitation to long-term, complex sub-acute needs. Can serve as a supplement to other employment or a great introduction to independent clinical practice. Flexible hours. Evenings and weekends OK! Qualifications Registered Dietitian credential (RDN) in California. Proficiency in Dietetics in Medical Nutrition Therapy and Nutritional Counseling. Current Negative TB Test Current BLS Certificate Understanding of Nutrition and its practical application in healthcare settings. Knowledge of enteral and parenteral nutrition. Experience in clinical settings and familiarity with healthcare regulations. CA Driver License & Vehicle Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $40 - $45 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
