Data Architect - Senior

Primary Responsibilities
• Designs logical and physical data models
• Leads ETL/ELT pipelines
• Implements data governance, quality, and lineage
• Coordinates closely with the Chief Enterprise Architect

• Someone who prevents analytics debt
• A bridge between raw data and analytics
Ideal Background Profile
• Strong ETL + cloud data architecture background
• Experience with catalogs, lineage, metadata
• Knows how to scale data responsibly
Automated Data Ingestion & Pipeline Execution
What must be shown
• Ingestion of a raw, unstructured or semi structured dataset
• Automated ETL/ELT pipeline execution
• Explanation or demonstration of streaming or near real time ingestion
What evaluators are assessing
• Automation over scripting
• Data quality handling during ingestion
• Architecture scalability
This proves you can operationalize data, not just host it.
Data Governance & Data Quality
What must be shown
• Data catalog or metadata management
• Data lineage (source → processing → analytics)
• Data quality scoring, flags, or validation
What evaluators are assessing
• Maturity of governance model
• Traceability and auditability
• Trustworthiness of analytics outputs
