Must-Have: Must be able to read Tele Strips and perform Cardiac Drips. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people.

Description: The Nursing Supervisor provides administrative, operational, and clinical responsibilities for all services in the facility on nights, weekends, and holidays. They serve as the clinical resource person on patient care and services. They act as the patient care representative and collaborate with medical staff, ancillary support, and clinical services to ensure optimal patient care services and environmental conditions at all times. Responsible for notifying the Administrator-On-Call of serious issues, incidents, and internal and external disasters. Supervise patient care through verification of established nursing practices and patient care standards. Provide direction and guidance to facilitate the nursing process. Ensures appropriate intervention is demonstrated in all situations. Serve as off-shift patient care representative. Listen to patient or patient family members' issues, document complaints, and investigate if required. Conduct rounds of all patient care areas and define expectations for accurate reporting with emphasis on high-acuity patients. Collaborate throughout off-shift with support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical services to coordinate clinical patient care or environmental needs.
