As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Wentworth, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with supervisors and/or public sector contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces while verifying credentials, observing activity, and reporting security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location requirements, using sound judgment during interactions, patrols, and response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
