This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, People Technology and play a key part in shaping how People Technology supports Klaviyo employees globally through thoughtful system design, strong team leadership, and a focus on leveraging AI to drive smarter, more scalable solutions.What you’ll do:Own your domainBe the go-to owner for your Workday modulesUtilize your team to configure, optimize, and continuously improve how these modules work togetherDrive enhancements, releases, and fixes, not just maintain the status quoHeavy focus on improving the end user experience (employee, manager & stakeholder personas)Manage and drive projects end-to-end, anticipating changing requirements along the wayResponsible for SOX compliance deliverables including recurring and ad hoc audit processesConnect the dotsWork across People, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to solve problems end-to-end not just the immediate task in front of youTranslate business needs into smart Workday or AI forward solutions (and vice versa)Partner with Integrations and follow the data across systemsDrive smarter processesIdentify what’s manual, broken, or overly complex and fix itBuild workflows that actually reflect how and where people workWith strong AI resources at your fingertips, think differently about how to solve problems and push beyond traditional approachesBe a strong leaderCoach and mentor team members, helping them grow both technically and in how they partner with the businessSet clear priorities and create structure in a space that can get complex quicklyBalance hands-on work with leadership; knowing when to dive into the details and when to step back and guideDrive accountability and ownership across the team without micromanagingBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and establish trust as a reliable, strategic partnerCreate clarity out of ambiguity, helping the team navigate shifting priorities and evolving business needsEstablish scalable processes, documentation, and support models that set the team up for long-term successWho You Are:6+ years in the Workday ecosystem, with strong understanding across functional modulesDeep experience with at least 3 Workday modulesGreenhouse experience a plus Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, from configuration to rollout to optimizationA self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can lead complex projects with high autonomyStrong cross-functional partner, you can work just as well with engineers as with HRBPsA builder mindset: you don’t just maintain systems, you improve themAI-forward mindsetCurious and proactive about how AI can improve People systems and operationsComfortable experimenting with AI to automate workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual workAble to spot practical use cases (not just hype) and bring them into day-to-day processesExperience supporting global HR technology across multiple countries, with an understanding of regulatory requirementsExperience in a public company environment, with compliance and controls in mindStrong project management and communication skills — able to tailor messaging across executive and project audiencesHighly organized with strong attention to detailWe use Covey as part of our hiring and / or promotional process. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
