The principal challenge of this position is to identify and drive process improvements that prevent problems, improve efficiencies, and reduce variation. When required, this position will develop solutions to metallurgical process problems of moderate scope and lead the implementation of these solutions in an economical, timely, and safe fashion.Improve product quality and problem-solve customer and internal quality concernsIncrease Metallurgical understanding of processesDevelop Metallurgical practices and/or procedures that result in process efficienciesPerform statistical analysis of complex process issuesLearn the location's standards, procedures and technologiesAbout you:Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Material Science and EngineeringAbility to function in a Team environmentExtra'sInternship experience in metal industry and/or Quality Systems.Internship experience in Project Management, Electronic Messaging, Statistical Methods, Engineering Calculations, Physical Metallurgy, Advanced Problem solving.Mechanical Metallurgy, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Metals solidification Theory, Thermodynamics, Material Processing.We are an equal opportunity employer.
