If you're passionate about statistical analysis, process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement, we'd like to hear from you.What We Offer You: Excellent compensation based on experience, skills, education, and market conditionsComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and more401(k) retirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysTuition reimbursementPromotion-from-within culture with career growth opportunitiesLong-term employment with a stable Fortune 500 packaging manufacturerCollaborative team environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvementWhat You'll Do:As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, driving quality improvements, and ensuring products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.Apply statistical tools such as SPC, Process Capability Analysis, Design of Experiments, and Root Cause Analysis to improve manufacturing processesEvaluate and optimize manufacturing processes and products through data-driven decision makingPerform dimensional inspections and testing using appropriate metrology equipment and quality toolsAnalyze inspection results and prepare technical reports, recommendations, and documentationDevelop, implement, and maintain inspection methods, gauging systems, and measurement proceduresSupport calibration and maintenance of laboratory and quality assurance equipmentGuide quality inspectors in daily testing, inspection, and problem-solving activitiesAssist with the maintenance and compliance of SQF and Quality Management SystemsLead and support corrective action, continuous improvement, and quality-focused projectsPartner with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, R&D, and Technical Services to solve quality concernsAutomate quality inspection and measurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventionManage Product Hold for Inspection inventory and OEM-related quality processes as neededWe need you to have:Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field preferredExperience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related roleKnowledge of statistical analysis tools including SPC, Process Capability, and DOEExperience with quality systems, GFSI programs, SQF, ISO, or similar quality management systems preferredLeadership experience preferredWhy Silgan Closures?At Silgan Closures, we're more than a manufacturing company.
