We are seeking a skilled Contract Line Cook to join our team at our Richmond, VA location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards
- Ensuring all food items are cooked to the proper temperature and consistency
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assisting with inventory and stock management
- Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Accommodating special dietary requests and food allergies
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
