Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Northwest Houston, TX (Ella Blvd Area)

Duration: Contract

Compensation: $28.00/hour

Work Requirements:

Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week
Team interviews scheduled for Thursday
Candidate must be available to start Friday or Monday at the latest

Skillset / Experience:

Must have recent QuickBooks experience
Full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
Experience processing high-volume invoices
Strong vendor reconciliation experience
Experience handling vendor payments and posting to vendor accounts
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

Review high-volume Accounts Payable transactions processed in QuickBooks for accuracy and completeness
Ensure invoices entered by operations teams are coded and routed correctly
Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Process and post vendor payments
Maintain vendor accounts and respond to inquiries professionally
Process manual invoices related to rent and utilities
Support accurate recordkeeping and documentation
Assist with AP reporting and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

QuickBooks experience is required
Experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
Advanced attention to detail and accuracy
Strong Excel proficiency
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
