Parts Manager

Manage and complete all parts ordering based on initial estimates and supplements Communicate with parts vendors and partner with Repair Planners to ensure parts accuracy Track parts deliveries and update Repair Planners on parts status Receive, mirror match, check in, and account for delivered parts Inspect delivered parts for damage within two hours of expected drop-off Return incorrect parts immediately to vendors Monitor parts margin, pending credits, shop consumables inventory, and material spend Communicate with the General Manager regarding optimization Ensure parts invoices are posted daily in CCC One and make corrections as necessary Support Body Technicians with parts knowledge and reference materials Keep current on laws and regulations concerning parts installation Mentor and direct the activities of the Parts Assistant, if applicable Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. Valid Driver’s License Legally authorized to work in the United States Experience in a parts capacity in the automotive industry Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in parts management and vendor communication within the automotive industry, ensuring accuracy in parts ordering, tracking, and inventory management. Proficient in using estimating software and knowledgeable about relevant laws and regulations.
