If you're looking for a firm with a strong team connection where you can be your whole self, have an impact, advance your skills, deepen your experiences, and have the flexibility and access to constantly find new areas of inspiration and expand your capabilities, then consider a career in Advisory.KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Forensic Technology to join our Advisory Services practice.Responsibilities:Support execution of end-to-end dead-box forensic investigations across iOS, MacOS, and Windows platforms to uncover digital evidenceAdvise on complex matters involving employee misconduct, intellectual property theft, and data breaches, ensuring secure and defensible outcomesDevelop proficiency in and utilize industry-standard, command-line Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) tools and techniques to effectively acquire and analyze dataImplement and automate customized forensic workflows and data processing scripts utilizing Python, Rust, C++, C#, or Java to streamline client deliverablesMaintain regular contact with and manage expectations of stakeholders to synthesize complex technical findings into clear, outcome-focused reports, both internally and externallyAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum three years of recent and relevant experience in digital forensics or incident responseBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, digital forensics, or equivalent from an accredited college or university is required; relevant training or certifications in the field, such as GIAC (GIME, GCFE, GCFA, GASF), IACIS (CFCE), Magnet (MCME), 13Cubed (IME Gold, ILD Gold), Cellebrite (CCME, CAAF, CAFF, CAIF), or Hexordia (HMAC)Experience conducting dead-box forensic investigations across iOS, macOS, and Windows platforms – including employee misconduct, IP theft, and data breaches using industry-standard command-line DFIR toolsProven experience with scripting, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and software engineering principles with a focus on designing and implementing automated solutions to optimize eDiscovery and forensic processesProgramming experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Rust, C++, C#, or JavaAbility to travel as neededApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)KPMG LLP and its subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
