Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Founding SEO Specialist Los Angeles | Hybrid | Full-time | Salary + equity Agentcy is building an always-on workspace where AI agents and marketing teams work together. We’re hiring a hands‑on SEO specialist to lead SEO performance for our design partners while helping our engineers build the Search and AEO capabilities inside Agentcy. This is not a traditional agency SEO role. You will work directly with real companies, own measurable outcomes, and turn what you learn into a product that can improve how marketing teams manage search. What you’ll do Own SEO strategy and performance across our design partners Track rankings, organic traffic, visibility, technical health, conversions, and other meaningful search metrics Lead SEO and AEO product initiatives Identify opportunities, prioritize actions, and measure what changed Work directly with engineers to translate real SEO workflows into product requirements Test Agentcy’s recommendations and outputs against your own professional judgment Help define the standards, approval points, reporting, and quality controls built into the product Turn repeated SEO work into clear, scalable workflows without removing expert oversight What we’re looking for Strong hands‑on experience managing SEO for multiple brands or websites Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, on‑page optimization, analytics, and reporting Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Profound or similar platforms A clear understanding of how search is changing through AI answers, LLM visibility, and AEO The ability to explain complex SEO problems clearly to engineers and non-SEO stakeholders Strong judgment.
