Project ManagerLocation: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week) Job Type: Contract Duration: 11 MonthsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to provide oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for large strategic and complex projects. This role supports high-visibility initiatives with executive-level stakeholders and requires a candidate who can manage diverse stakeholder groups, vendor participation, complex schedules, and significant system integrations.The ideal candidate will have advanced experience managing complex IT projects, work well under limited supervision, and demonstrate a high degree of creativity, initiative, and independent judgment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide project management oversight and leadership for large, strategic, and complex IT projectsManage projects with high visibility at the executive levelCoordinate multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teamsDevelop and manage project scope, schedules, and budgetsLead Agile project ceremonies and practicesManage vendor relationships and deliverablesWrite or participate in the development of Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and contractsEnsure successful integration with other systems and business processesCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersMinimum RequirementsBachelor's DegreeMinimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Project Manager for IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50 or more team membersAdvanced experience managing Agile projectsAdvanced experience managing scope, schedule, and project budgetAdvanced experience with vendor managementExperience writing or participating in the development of SOW, RFP, or contractsStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsPMP Certification (highly desired)Work ArrangementHybrid schedule: Must be onsite from Day 1, two days per weekNo remote-only optionLocal candidates only: Must be located within 90 miles of Lansing, MI at time of submissionInterview Process1st round interviews will be virtual2nd round interviews may take place in-personCandidates must be available for an in-person interview
