Freelance Senior Recruiter

Job Overview:  

We are seeking an experienced freelance Senior Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for marketing, advertising, and creative roles. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and agency leadership to attract top talent across client services, strategy, creative, project management, and digital disciplines.  

Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:  

• Support full-cycle recruitment for permanent and freelance positions from intake through offer acceptance.  


• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and define hiring needs.  


• Source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of recruiting channels.  


• Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, offer approvals, and hiring logistics.  


• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.  


• Oversee freelance onboarding, contractor documentation, and freelancer extensions.  


• Coordinate the transition of permanent new hires to HR for onboarding.  


• Maintain accurate ATS data, recruiting documentation, and job descriptions.  


• Track recruiting metrics and prepare hiring, dashboard, and reports for leadership.  


• Manage the employee referral program and related administration.  


• Stay informed on talent market trends and provide insights to hiring managers.  


• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and established recruiting processes.  

Qualifications and Skills:  

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, within a marketing, advertising, creative, or digital agency, preferably at a pharma agency.  


• Proven success recruiting for creative, strategy, account management, project management, production, and digital marketing roles.  


• Strong sourcing skills with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent acquisition platforms.  


• Excellent interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.  


• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.  


• Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred).  


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  


• Experience recruiting within life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical marketing agencies preferred  


• Experience  hiring both permanent employees and freelance/contract talent.  


• Knowledge of agency workflows and organizational structures.

As required by law in this state, the estimated hourly range for this position is $70 - $80 USD and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At CG Life, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the plan.
