Senior IT Technician/Engineer

Salary: $70,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of IT support experience, with managed service provider experience strongly preferred.
• We need someone who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• We are looking for strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• We expect excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• We need the ability to prioritize tasks and manage several responsibilities at once.
• This is an in-person role based in our Westfield, MA office, with occasional on-site client visits.
• A valid drivers license and a clean driving record are required.
• We prefer experience designing, configuring, and supporting firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and Wi‑Fi networks.
• We want hands-on expertise installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 11 workstations and Windows Server 2016+ environments.
• We look for experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange, and SharePoint.
• We value knowledge of DNS and email authentication records such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• We prefer familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V and/or VMware.
• We are seeking cyber security best practices experience in Entra and endpoint management.
• PowerShell scripting experience, especially in Azure and Microsoft 365, is highly desirable.
• IT project leadership experience is an advantage.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco are preferred.

• We want you to work onsite at our Westfield, MA office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• You will provide end-to-end helpdesk and systems support for assigned client environments.
• You will independently diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, server, and network issues.
• You will monitor, maintain, and protect client IT environments using our established toolset.
• You will act as the technical lead for your assigned client accounts.
• You will complete advanced IT projects such as migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
• You will keep client system documentation accurate, clear, and well organized.
• You will work with client leadership to align technology decisions with business objectives.
• You will support environments typically ranging from 20 to 200 endpoints across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid setups.
• You will take ownership of client success and handle internal escalations when needed.
• You will build trusted, long-term relationships with clients through regular support and communication.
