Registered Nurse

This position is for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse working nights. The contract length is 13 weeks. The nurse will work three 12-hour shifts per week. A minimum of one year of experience is required for this position. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must hold a valid RN state license and required certifications. Orientation for the role includes 24 hours of training. The unit serves adult patients with diagnoses such as Sepsis, UTI, AKI, Pneumonia, Cholecystitis, and CHF. Patient ratios will typically be 1 nurse to 5 patients. Floating within the specialty and to other units may be required. Weekend work is required, with every other weekend included. The flu vaccine is required, and there are no exemptions. Travelers should be comfortable with established protocols and procedures relevant to the specialty. Nurses will work in collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. All candidates should be proficient in managing various medical technologies and interventions as part of patient care.
