The firm specializes in technology, low‑voltage consulting, and electrical design services across multiple verticals including healthcare, multi‑family, mixed‑use, education, municipal, and hospitality. Position Title Technology Project Consultant Location & Travel Locations: Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA; Englewood, CO. Travel required: 25% – 35% (varying by project). Job Type Full‑time. Key Responsibilities Provide continued education on technology systems, including security, audiovisual, structured cabling, telecommunications, and nurse call, to advise clients and team members. Interpret and translate client needs into system strategy and infrastructure technical design documents. Drive project meetings (virtual and on‑site) with owners, clients, architects, and contractors to define scope, current and future needs, processes, workflows, and expectations. Review and issue meeting minutes produced by the Project Coordinator. Collaborate with the Project Coordinator on production of technical design documents. Plan and forecast tasks with the Project Coordinator in accordance with the project schedule, estimating time required for completion. Coordinate with design team, construction team, utility providers, equipment manufacturers, and local authorities to gather and investigate requirements for design implementation. Create and maintain cost opinions per project. Develop technical specifications using Microsoft Word. Attend construction job site visits during construction to monitor progress, producing observation notes and punch lists using Microsoft Word. Maintain organized and detailed records of communications with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members via Microsoft Outlook. Review construction shop drawings and submittals using Bluebeam Revu. Maintain a continued focus on and take pride in the firm’s reputation and brand. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Architecture, or a related field. RCDD certificate (preferred). PMP certification (preferred). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu. Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit (preferred). Strong written and oral communication skills. Self‑motivated, deadline‑driven, and highly organized. Flexible and adaptable to changing situations. Effective listener who understands client and team needs. Ability to interact effectively with project team, client, and reviewing authorities. Excellent presentation skills. Hybrid remote work available in Atlanta, GA (30303). Salary range is $35.00 – $60.00 per hour. Experience required: 3 years in design.
