Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly serves clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, adapting your counseling techniques to cater to their unique situations. By focusing on evidence-based therapies, you will help clients achieve their mental health goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license issued in the state of California, enabling you to practice independently.

• A minimum of two years’ experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting, demonstrating your capacity to handle a variety of psychological issues.

• Exceptional telehealth communication skills, equipped to create a safe and trusting environment for clients in a virtual space.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, additional experience in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be an advantage. Familiarity with telehealth software and electronic health record systems also highly preferred, as you will be integrating these tools into your daily practice.
