In this remote telehealth position, you will have the flexibility to work from home while being an integral part of our supportive team. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, history, and overall mental health status, utilizing standardized tools and self-report questionnaires.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that incorporate their unique goals, preferences, and strengths, ensuring each plan is data-informed and tailored for effectiveness.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in developing coping strategies and improving their emotional well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and necessary self-care measures, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout therapy by regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each client, addressing both psychological and medical aspects of treatment.

• Stay current on the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health, particularly regarding mood disorders, and apply this knowledge to enhance treatment practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing mood disorders, encompassing conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety disorders. Many clients present with complex challenges, requiring a nuanced understanding of their unique situations. You will be responsible for developing strong therapeutic relationships, characterized by trust, empathy, and mutual respect, to effectively support these individuals on their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong background in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to collaborate with psychiatrists for integrated patient care.

• Proven ability to achieve successful outcomes in mood disorder treatment, demonstrating a track record of effectively supporting clients towards recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
