Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial intake interviews and maintain detailed documentation throughout the treatment process, ensuring clarity and continuity of care.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health, analyzing complex cases to identify their unique needs and challenges.
\n
• Design personalized treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, employing techniques tailored to enhance engagement and successful outcomes.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to better support their recovery journey.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention plans.

• Provide follow-up communications with clients’ referring physicians and mental health specialists to ensure continuity of care for hospitalized clients.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and employ strategies to mitigate these challenges while supporting family members and caregivers in their problem-solving efforts.

Our clients come from various backgrounds and encompass a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• At least two years of previous experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals in a telehealth environment.

• A background in working with clients facing addiction disorders, mood disorders, and other prevalent mental health challenges.

• Knowledge of the best practice guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Familiarity with medication effects and interactions, particularly those prescribed in psychiatric settings.

• Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and their families.
