This position allows for a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with patients effectively. You will be a part of a dynamic team, committed to trauma-informed care, working adaptable hours primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment modalities.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their experiences and cultivate effective coping mechanisms.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate integrated care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients during trauma-related emergencies or crises.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Participate in team meetings, consultations, and professional development workshops to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily those who are trauma survivors. This includes individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma responses, and related mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
