Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and devise appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma and adopt effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other allied health providers to ensure integrated care paths for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, managing trauma-related emergencies with sensitivity and professionalism.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma, its effects, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough, confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and clarity in documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be individuals experiencing trauma-related challenges, including but not limited to, those who have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
